Something Lovely Wedding Event Returns to OC August 3

Newport Beach, California, May 27, 2014 -- Something Lovely Wedding returns to Orange County on Sunday, August 3, with an elite collection of more than 30 high-end wedding resources and pop-up shops, showcasing Southern California’s best curated ensemble of cutting edge, local resources for the fashion-forward bride. The second annual Something Lovely Wedding event will be held at the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) from 12 to 4 p.m.
Designed to inspire fusion weddings where creative, personal, and cultural traditions of the couple are perfectly blended, the event will include a runway show of couture bridal fashions by Mon Amie Bridal Salon, one of the west coast’s preeminent bridal salons; food tastings offered by the new Lark Creek Newport Beach in Fashion Island; the debut of Something Lovely Something Sweet, an inspired custom candy and dessert buffet company; a Q&A session with panel of wedding experts; a chance to win a honeymoon to the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, and more.  Each guest will leave with a luxury gift bag filled with ideas.
“With so many online sources, there are a lot wonderful ideas available to brides today that it is sometimes hard to narrow it down or find local vendors to bring your idea to life,” says Something Lovely Wedding Founder Shannon Paigah. “Personalizing your wedding through colors, unique décor and even incorporating cultural elements of the bride and groom, are only a few of the ideas that will be showcased at the Something Lovely Wedding Event.” Paigah started the event in 2013 to offer brides a carefully selected list of the finest wedding sources in Southern California all in one convenient collection in an incredible venue.
Other participants include the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach; Jo Malone London, the luxury fragrance brand for the body and home; Ijorere of Chicago, debuting its beautiful and custom invitations and wedding favors on the west coast; Peachwood Event and Floral Design, an event designer, paper flower artist and floral designer; Portola Coffee Lab of Costa Mesa, unveiling their specialty espresso cart for weddings; ‘Lette Macarons from Newport Beach, Los Angeles and San Diego; Vanilla Bake Shop, a Los Angeles specialty cake shop; and the TravelStore, which is giving away a luxurious seven night honeymoon to Moorea and the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort. Additional sponsors include Marianne Lozano Photography, Hoo Films, Gilt City and OCMA
Tickets are $45 online, or $55 at the door. The ticket price includes admittance to the event, a luxury swag bag and a chance to win additional prizes.
