The oc mart MIX (The MiX), with the rest of the SOCO collection, is celebrating their first holiday season with a Dashing Through SOCO, A Holiday Affair on Saturday, Dec. 3. The MiX will be hosting special events all day, starting at 10:30 am. Join the 33 shops at The MIX in kicking off the holiday season with vintage family photos, yummy food samples, seasonal beverages, live music, carolers, special demonstrations, a fashion show... and so much more!
10am-6pm Vintage Holiday Photos
The MiX is hosting a vintage holiday photographer and customers have an opportunity to receive a gorgeous photo shoot and the ability to download the pictures for FREE! You can also order prints from the photographer for holiday gifts.
10:30 am- Coffee and tasting at Portola Coffee Lab
Manual Coffee Brewing for the Holidays -Portola Coffee Lab will demystify craft coffee brewing by teaching attendees to brew coffee at home on the Hario V-60 single-cup dripper exactly like our professional baristi. Discover the techniques essential to unlocking the flavor potential of fresh roasted coffee using any brew method and also get recommendations for pairing coffee with your holiday meal.

12:30pm- Eco Friendly Holidays
The Eco Group will be showcasing reusable shopping bags while also demonstrating how to customize bags and other items using the silk screen process. The audience will receive free prints and a "Gift Bag" filled with goods from the presenting stores valued at $100 (bag, book, dvd, etc.) will be awarded to a person who can answer a question based on the presentation.
